I am DELIGHTED!! My order was delivered to the UK very quickly and efficiently. I got an email confirming it had been sent and the packaging protected my order well. I would have no concerns using this seller again. In fact, I will suggest friends buy a flute as it would make a wonderful Christmas present!
Thank you for your feedback Sarah! I am glad your Wowflutes arrived quickly and safely. Enjoy them! ~Joseph Cowlishaw
The flutes look great and the price is right. I’ve thought about learning to play the flute and this would be a great way to start, but I don’t see an instruction manual or songbook. I’d like to do more than just make irritating noises. I’m already naturally talented at that.
Hello Vic,
Each Wowflute comes with a fingering chart and the music to the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (i figure that’s the epitome of the southwest). I also have an additional free pdf music book here on the website that can be downloaded. It includes 4 additional songs. Best Regards, ~Joseph Cowlishaw
Hello,
We purchased 10 of your flutes as Christmas gifts at an event we were at last month. My question for you is: how’s the best way to hold the flute while playing it?
And, when it says that the holes that are the same size are “interchangeable,” what exactly does that mean? When looking at the fingering diagrams with certain holes covered or uncovered, does that mean that any of the same sized holes can be covered or uncovered and it doesn’t matter which exact holes it is?
If you’re able to call and answer some additional questions, that would be ideal! 480.329.0502 is my cell.
Thank you!
Hello and good morning!,
I don’t check my website as often as I should. Thank you for your inquiry. Because the Wowflute only weighs about 1/2 ounce the best way to hold it while uncovering all holes it with the mouth and ring fingers near the back of the flute where the string attaches.
The interchangeable holes means there are numerous ways to get the same notes. I have a customer in Germany that is a music teacher and she broke down the notation in more detail. I am working with her to make a better “how to” music book. She has published a great explanation of the Wowflute on her website:

Good morning! I purchased a number of your flutes at the Mesa Historical Museum, and kept one for myself. I am trying to learn to play the flute, love the tones, and totally understand the music included, but am struggling how to “hold” the flute whilst taking my fingers on and off of the holes, as the flute is very tiny. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! Jerry Cave
